We Clean Soot and Smoke Damage
Kitchen-based fires are one of the most common types of home fires in the country. This home had a significant fire that damaged all of the kitchen and the surrounding rooms.
When our first crew arrived, we had to deal with the water damage left by the local fire department. We removed all affected contents, extracted the standing water, and set equipment to dry the structure.
Next, we had a second crew start the demolition. Because the damage was extensive, it was beyond any kind of cleaning—we had to strip the affected areas down to the structure so they could be rebuilt.
SERVPRO of Iredell County did not do the repairs for this home, but that would have been the final step in the restoration process!
