Drying Water Damage in a Basement

Most people store their belongings in the basement, which is why water damage in that space can be catastrophic. In this home, for example, water affected the entire area of this unfinished basement.

We would normally remove wet carpet because water tends to ruin the adhesive anyways. In this case, the customer had been working diligently to extract much of the water on their own, so we were able to save the carpet. Instead, we helped with extraction by using our own powerful extracting equipment. We followed this up by setting drying equipment to speed up the drying process and applying an antimicrobial treatment to mitigate the risk of mold growth!
