Water Damage from a Broken Water Supply Line

A water supply line leaked in this home, soaking the ceiling and the carpet of the basement below. Once a plumber fixed the supply line, our team was dispatched to clean up the damage.

Because the basement was overly saturated, we had to cut out the ceiling, the carpet, and some of the drywall. This was a necessary step because those materials tend to absorb water, which can lead to eventual mold growth and structural damage.

Once the affected materials were removed, we set our equipment to dry the structure. We also applied an antimicrobial treatment to reduce the risk of mold!
