Cleaning Up Flood Damage in a Mooresville Basement
When we had flooding in February of 2020, more than a hundred homes and businesses called our office. This home—like many others in the area—had rainwater seep into its basement and affect its owner's belongings.
Shortly after we arrived at this home, the fire department shut off the power because the amount of water in the basement posed an electrical safety risk. We used one of our portable generators to run our air movers and dehumidifiers—important tools that help us speed up the evaporation process and remove moisture from the air.
All of the belongings the customer stored in the basement were affected, so we had a team pack up and relocate all of the salvageable contents to our warehouse to be dried and stored for the duration of the mitigation process!
